Colonel Richardson Middle School is a public middle school serving grades 6-8 in Southern Caroline County.  Our enrollment is approximately 410 students.  Students engage in a daily academic program consisting of English/Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science, with Unified Arts being offered on an A/B Day schedule.

Opportunities are available for extracurricular involvement in a variety of areas such as drama, music & band, robotics, and community service.  Students are also afforded the opportunity to enroll in classes to earn High School credit.

Our school shares a campus with Colonel Richardson High School and takes its name from the founder of Caroline County:  Colonel William Richardson.

Our Vision

Colonel Middle students naturally pursue rigor, leadership, and autonomy under the guidance of well-prepared and supportive staff.

We do not currently have an active PTA. We would love to have an involved parent group at our school. If you are interested in starting the PTA, please contact the school and we’ll be happy to help. Please use our contact form or call us at 410.754.9922.
