Colonel Richardson Middle is a proud Community School!

What is a community school?

Community schools serve as hubs that bring families, communities, and partners together to remove barriers to learning. Each community school has a coordinator who establishes and strengthens community partnerships. The coordinator serves as an advocate for students and families, helping them stay connected to the school community and the resources they need.

How can we help?

Your Community School Coordinator works hand-in-hand with school staff, students, families, and local communities. The Coordinator can connect students and their families with resources and services such as:

  • basic needs assistance: food, clothing, hygiene products, shelter

  • physical and mental health support

  • afterschool and summer learning opportunities
