Parents/Guardians:
You will notice that your student(s) came home today with a new folder that has Inclement Weather assignments for your child. These folders are to be kept at home to be completed when/if necessary in the future.
The Maryland Department of Education is allowing districts to use three (3) asynchronous inclement weather days as virtual learning days. This limits the number of days that would normally have to be added on to the end of the school year.
For Elementary Students: Folders with brief Math and/or English Language Arts assignments will be sent home in preparation for an inclement weather day. Internet/Wi-Fi will not be required to complete assignments. Assignments will be due 2 days after school is back in session and will count as attendance for the virtual day.

Happy New Year, #CarolineFamily! Schools reopen Monday, January 2, 2023.

Today we were able to have one of our most cherished traditions at Preston Elementary School! Our staff and student Sing-a-Long is always one of the highlights of the year, and as you can tell, we had a very exciting time, enjoying all of our favorite holiday music together! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our PES family to yours! 🎄🎄🎄

Congratulations to this weeks PES PAWSITIVE Referral recipients! Garrett, Sadie, Sophia, River, Jack, and Hannah are doing a great job! These students are showing their PAWS each and every day! Please see our Facebook page for the full album! #pespantherpride

Today all of our PES Students took part in the Holiday Airways Door Decorating event. Each grade decorated their doors and hallways with information from a specific country around the world about their holiday traditions! All of our students also took their passport with them and also got a small item at each station that had something to do with the traditions of that specific country. We would like to thank our amazing Equity committee for putting together this event, and for making sure our students learn about all of our traditions all over the world. Please see our Facebook page for the full album! #pespantherpride
