His powerful message truly resonated, and it was clear from their reactions that our students were engaged, inspired, and moved by his words. A big shout out to our First LEGO League teams who competed yesterday, The Colonel Cougars and the Richardson Robots! A huge congratulations to the Richardson Robots who took home the first place trophy! Congratulations all!

Next week our CRMS Drama Club presents "When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors". This is a hilarious look at when a makeshift production of the Wizard of Oz doesn't quite go as planned.

The show will begin at 6pm in the Colonel Richardson Middle School cafeteria.

This week Mrs. Shoemaker's STEM classes learned about the importance of eye protection. Using the engineering design process, they identified a problem, did some research, developed a prototype, and made plans for improvement. They designed eyewear to protect people while playing basketball and baseball, forging, and mowing grass. #CougarStrength #CarolineFamily

Miss Harper's sixth-grade technology students built air skimmers in class. Students learned to measure accurately with a ruler and follow blueprints to assemble their skimmers. The students then practiced "launching" their skimmers by hand and with a rubber band. The students then learned how to find the mean distance their skimmers traveled. The top 3 students from Miss Harper's 4th and 6th period classes had the chance to compete against each other during lunch. All had a fun time!!! Congrats Fredy Felix Rodelo on winning the competition!!!
