We are thrilled to announce that our very own Rilyn Breeding has been selected as a 2026 Carson Scholar! As a Carson Scholar, Rilyn will receive a $1,000 college scholarship, along with a Carson Scholars Fund medal and certificate. She will also be honored at the Carson Scholars Fund’s 30th Annual Maryland Awards Banquet this May.

Congratulations, Rilyn! We are so incredibly proud of you and this outstanding achievement.

Also noteworthy, CRMS has not had a Carson Scholar since 2012.

These adjustments were made due to the recent inclement weather days used, and in an effort to avoid extending the school year. With these changes, and if no further inclement weather days are used, the last day of school for students remains June 17, 2025 (half-day).

CRMS had 5 students earn spots in the ESBDA Junior All-Shore Band. Middle school musicians audition from all across the Eastern Shore of Maryland to gain acceptance into this honors ensemble.

They will combine with other talented students to perform a concert of challenging and fun music on March 28th at Wicomico High School!
